The beginning of the Holocaust has been really hard on Jews. They are being kicked out of their houses and being deported out of their country. Outside of Germany the beginning of the war is going on. Japan has attacked the U.S., the Allies and the Axis powers are going against eachother. There is alot of confusion.
This picture feels lifeless. The dead person over the family looks like its protecting them in a sence. Once you look at this picture you can taste the ashes in the air. A grotesque smell of burning flesh and DEATH. Shouts of HELP break through the desperation.

Today we learned about how Hitler took over Austria and Czechoslovakia. Austria was Hitler's first target. On March 2, 1938 Germany and Austria's union was complete. For Czecoslovakia, the mountains were their defence against the German. On September 30, 1938, the Sudetenland was turned over to Germany.

Today we learned new vocabulary. We also learned who the dictator of Russia and the dictator of Italy were. Russia's government was a collectivization communism which meant that the government controlled everything. The government of Italy was fascism where the dictator controls everything.
Today we learned about the Holocaust. It was when Hitler wanted to make a "finer" kind of men. To complete his plan, he thought he could kill other people and get away with it. Hitler started off by killing thousands of Jews by sending them to concentration camps. By the time people would get to their camps, half of them would be dead. The Holocaust was a horrible event in history.
My name is Michelle. I am a Junior this year at the high school. The goals I have for this year are to pass all my classes with at least a B and to make sure the attendance policy doesn't affect my grade. With the grades thing, I'm doing ok. I just need to work harder on two of my classes to reach my goal. The attendance policy doesn't affect my grades at all so thats good. I plan to go to college and major in either as a paediatrician, an architect or a chemical engineer.
